DEVELOPMENT

Channel development work can involve different structures. We work with content owners with the aim of monetizing their content using different business models:

We create branded channels that licence premium content from rights owners to distribute to viewers on demand and via linear streaming. Content streaming generates inventory that is monetised using dynamic digital ad insertion.

We work with rights owners and aggregators on a commercial venture basis to create a new channel utilising their content, and where required, we boost the content by licensing from other content owners.

We undertake target audience analysis, real-time viewer data statics and channel engagement metrics. Following Channel development, we distribute through a broad range of platforms, and monetize using direct ad sales and programmatic solutions.

MANAGEMENT

Content preparation, ad-break point insertion and storage
Managing content encryption and digital rights management (DRM)

DELIVERY & DISTRIBUTION

We were the first company to launch IP streamed and Video On Demand channels on Free-to-air platforms via dedicated channel numbers on the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) as well as through ‘On Demand’ portals. In addition, our platform network extends across Smart TV’s, Games Consoles, Mobile and Web. This distribution eco-system enables brands to reach multiple audiences with a single advertising initiative.

Since 2012, VOD365s strength has been selecting and partnering with the right providers and building an efficient and cost effective integrated distribution network across all key devices. We continually review our solution to ensure that through our size and scale, we remain agile and robust, maintaining value for our content licensors and commercial partners.

MONETISATION

VOD365 leverages ad technology and created the first bespoke solution to deliver dynamic ad-insertion to premium digital video content across a range of different TV applications and Smart devices.

The ad management dashboard software is part of Google Ad Manager, this works with the VOD365 system to code and deliver measured advertising through a variety of end devices. As such we offer the only solution that is able to deliver a single campaign to all mediums.

For Kids channels, our ad solution is GDPR-K compliant and COPPA in the U.S.

    VOD365 was founded in 2012 with a vision to bring advertising based premium video on demand channels to TV and mobile devices OTT (over the top).

    Our aim is to capitalise on the growing market for video on demand television by developing and delivering our branded Channels available through Smart TV’s , Free TV platforms (in the UK), Tablets and Smart Phones.
